Cafeteria Toral

We arrived in Antequeara in the middle of siesta time, which, if you have been to Spain, is generally not a good time to be hungry because so many places close. However, we found Bar Toral and in we went. On the outside, it probably wouldn't have been the type of place we'd normally eat but, on the inside, it had a lovely feel and vibe. The waiter was very very pleasant and kind about our attempts at Spanish. The food we ordered didn't come too fast (which means it wasn't just heated up! but not too slowly either and was absolutely delicious. My husband had the pork fillet special which was recommended by the waiter and he thought it was just delicious. I had the pork fillet with cheese and ham filling and it was lovely too. Our daughter had pork sausage dish that she loved too. We all had dessert, a special of the house (the one with an odd name, not that I can remember it now! . Really lovely, based on ground almonds. All in all, Toral saved our trip to Antequeara and really made our day! Go there, you'll be happy!

Good selection of standard tapas and raciones with a steady turnover of local customers. The sort of place where you think every customer is best friends with the staff. Very good value, would have willingly payed more.

Innocuous looks should not put you off a genuine local's bar with a great Menu del dia close to the centre and the castle; busy and friendly best you stop by!

Great local place with fast service and genuine fantastic coffee and simple breakfast food. We loved the traditional atmosphere

Good food. Fast service. Cosy little pub full to capacity with locals. Menu is limited but authentic Spanish food.
