In großer Zahl poppen sie auf in Wien, die kleinen Cafe Bars. Vorzugsweise dort, wo für Fashion Boutiquen das Raumangebot zu gering oder zu schlauchig geraten ist. Gemein sind ihnen zumeist folgende Attribute: Die Einrichtung urban gestylt (zeitlos ungemütlich, Schlichtheit sticht Eleganz, um die Einfallslosigkeit und den Geldmangel zu kaschieren), winzige Tischchen, oftmals aneinandergereiht wie Stangen im Hühnerstall, gemacht für Bobos und Generation Y/Z, die offenbar sehr wenig Zeit haben, reinsortige, sich an Exotik überbietende Espressosorten zu verkosten. Honestly, I truly love the Viennese tradition of the original coffee-houses. But it is more about the generosity of sitting there, reading books and different newspapers, talking to friends or - if in the right mood - getting in touch with strangers. The coffee itself is - well - average. Better of course than in many European countries but compared to Italy just soso... But it's more about the generosity of sitting there, reading books and various newspapers, talking to friends or getting in touch with strangers in the right mood. The coffee itself is very average. Better natural than in many European countries, but compared to Italy... But now, after a short intermezzo of Starucks in the city (which is somehow moved by its unified international marketing concept into a city where coffee houses and their waiters are famous for their great individuality), there are more and more high-quality cafeterias appearing with strongly roasted coffee and baristas who really know their work....

Diese kleine italienische Kaffeebar ist die eierlegende Wollmilchsau in Sachen Frühstück und Kaffee. Der Inhaber ist Halbfranzose und Halbitaliener und zaubert frische französische Croissants und perfekten italienischen Espresso auf den Tisch.Wer die Nase voll von der dünnen, bitteren Brühe hat, die in Wien normalerweise als "Espresso" serviert wird, sollte dort hingehen. Es werden sich neue Welten auftun. Und wenn die Zeit fehlt, trinkt man den Kaffee einfach al banco - an der Theke - das gibts in Wien auch selten. Rundherum zu empfehlen! Уютное, небольшое помещение с приятной атмосферой и музыкой. В кафе работают очень приятные люди, которые готовят замечательный капуччино!На выбор предлагается две разные кофейные смеси. Одна имеет терпкий вкус и сильный аромат, вторая - более легкая с фруктовым послевкусием. Сотрудники кафе с радостью объясняют разницу между этими смесями. Как я поняла, смеси завозятся из разных стран мира и по-разному обжариваются.Также в кафе можно попробовать итальянскую выпечку, которую прямо так готовят.Рекомендую!

oramai e`diventato per me impossibile rinunciare a prendere un caffe`e cornetto/cambiotto in questo bar :-) ottimo ritrovo sia in compagnia che da soli per rilassarsi o anche magari studiare o leggere un libro etc...L'accoglienza e la musica creano un'atmosfera che ti fa sentire a casa..lo posso solo consigliare :-)ps: occhio, una volta provato difficile toglierselo dalla testa... :-D

Das kleine Tagescafe mit Shop für die edle Kaffee-Zubereitung liegt etwas versteckt in der Florianigasse im 8. Wiener Bezirk. Als Josefstädterin freue ich mich immer über schöne neue Plätze, wo man bei köstlichen Kaffee (oder auch einem Chai Latte) gemütlich chillen, quatschen oder arbeiten kann.

We found shelter in this charming café behind the Viennese Town Hall. This place was an oasis from the crowded cafes near the center. The coffee was great and a caffeine latte and espresso doppio came to a reasonable 6.50 euros. Hunt Cambio out, you won't regret it. Réservez une table maintenant

Guter kaffee mit guten Mehlspeisen. Kaffeebohnen gibts auch zu kaufen, um den flair auch mit nach Hause nehmen zu können.
