Caffe Nero - Réserver une table

I went with my daughter to the Bath christmas market and we stopped in Neros for a quick lunch. It took a very long time to get served as there was a long queue but the food came quite quickly. However, the customer toilets were terrible, filthy and awash with water(? on the floor. I had to search for the cleanest and driest part of the floor to put my shopping and handbag down as there was no hook on the door, something that is also in every Neros I have ever been in. Maybe I wouldn't have noticed the filth if I had been able to hang up my things instead of examining the floor. Come on Neros, hooks on the doors and a bit more cleaning please.

Went last Saturday afternoon. I was excited to go have a sit down, drink and a snack. I ordered quickly, politely and with a smile as always but the barista lady looked so fed up and annoyed : It was my first time using the app to scan my loyalty card, when I asked when I should scan it, she was rude about it. The latte was delicious though. The toastie was brought up to my table but they had put a paper napkin on top of it and obviously it got stuck on the cheese, when I tried to get it off I had to remove a lot of the cheese too. I had to clean my own table and put the previous customers dirty dishes on a chair.

All you could ask for in a chain café. Never seems hectic with plenty of seating, though that may be the time of day I come. Decent coffee and food for the price. Reliable and relaxed, a good place to take your laptop and study as I do.

Queuing time to get a cup of coffee is ridiculous but it looks like it might be a new way of life.
