Caffe Rel - Réserver une table

Ok, ready? Maryland grown boy here (shirt's a dead giveaway) and I got the blue crab bisque and the crab cake sandwich. I was just going to eat the crab cake part of the sandwich until I opened it and, mmm, looks good. So I decided to spread their sauce on both sides and eat the whole thing. Now, if you've ever been to Jimmy's in Baltimore, you'll know what I'm talking about. While it's not Jimmy's (sorry, no one is), I was quite delighted at both dishes and not need to go to Maryland for crabs. I've been here before with the whole family, and everything was delicious.

Oh my gosh! The scrimp and grits are so so good! The sauce/gravy and veggies on top of the grits are so flavorful and the scrimp are tender without that murky taste. Every mouthful you are making the mmmmmm sound! Lol! I highly recommend this dish!

Wasn't expecting such an impressive menu. I eat at a lot of nice restaurants in Asheville. This little gem in Franklin is a must go. Level of quality impressive.
