Hi AllWe have been to this cafe several times for breakfast however today we went for coffee and asked for a cup of hot water. When I went to pay the bill I was charged $12.20. When I said what for 2 coffees I was told there was a $3.80 for the hot water. The male waiter (I have a photo) I was told this was policy.I will never go back on principle when we ordered the hot water the waitress never told us we would be charged for the water. I will be making a complaint to the department of fair trading as well. I wouldn't go to this place if I were you if this is their charging practice.
My favourite breakfast haunt, been every Friday now for 3 months and their menu has never let me down. Great service with a real friendly crew of people running the show. This morning with my usual Mocha went on recommendation for the "Cuban Brekkie" Poached eggs, Spanish chorizo, mixed beans, pulled pork shoulder with pancetta. Topped with condiments from the table such as Tabasco and HP sauce, It might sound a little heavy but i can guarantee it was delicious. I walked in from the drizzling rain this morning feeling damp and gloomy, I left feeling warm and content.
We find that this branch of Caffissimo is the best place for breakfast.Everything is beautifully presented and they know how to make crispy bacon. They use a special cut which makes the difference.Nice variety of different egg dishes.Like that you can get different fresh juices and the coffee is also excellent.I can highly recommend the above.The staff are all excellent and they know how to give service. What a pleasure.
I have been visiting Caffissimo for a long time but mostly for coffee. Coffee was always been good and the service impeccable. Over the last week we have tried their breakfast menu three times and each time it has been brilliant. This will continue to be a favourite of ours. Réservez une table maintenant
