Given the exorbitant price, one would expect that, apart from an ‘experience’, the restaurant offered truly extraordinary food… and honestly, I wasn’t impressed at all by the dishes themselves; they all seemed to include extravagant ingredients just for the sake of it, rather than for a justified, flavour-related reason. The service was very good and extremely polite, although I personally thought that there were too many waiters per table to feel truly comfortable. That said, the use of local ingredients was appreciated and the wine suggestion was totally on point, I must say.
Es un sitio impecable, un personal amabilísimo y unos platos excelsos. Restaurante no apto para personas que no saben apreciar la buena gastronomía. El menú que hemos degustado era una sinfonía de sabores y texturas delicadas y sorprendente. Son una familia y y varias generaciones, por lo que es un sitio familiar y de cocina de autor a la vez. Cuidan los detalles. El máximo responsable, una vez hemos terminado ha venido a la mesa a charlar con nosotros y nos ha explicado su pasión y su entrega a este negocio, entre otras cosas. Un restaurante con una estrella Michelin, recomendado y dos Soles de la Guía Repsol. Provamos el menú degustación descubriendo el valle, mucho más que platos de caza. Jordi Juncà en la cocina y un gran equipo, y Joan Juncà en la sala y su hijo Martí, que nos ofreció un maridaje de vinos sublime, nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Unos platos equilibrados entre lo salado y lo dulce. Un lugar muy recomendable tanto la cocina como el servicio. Un restaurante 10.

We enjoyed a very good meal in delightful surroundings and with excellent service. The meal was worth over four stars, but not quite five. The dessert (La Sara) was outstanding.
