Wonderful! You know you 've chosen a good restaurant when you walk past and it 's full of locals. We booked for a few nights later and certainly weren 't disappointed. Beautifully run family restaurant in a beautiful old fisherman 's house. Dad, Mum and daughter all so friendly, attentive and welcoming. Go hungry. Starters are huge! We could have just had those but struggled on ! and had delicious mains. Can 't understand comments about owner he was delightful. He even offered us two very large glasses of his own favourite red wine gorgeous with his compliments which we enjoyed after our main meal. As they were closing down, he said 'I like you, but can you leave now ' ; We found this very funny as he 'd been so great all evening! If you want certain dishes on the menu lobster for eg, you have to order ahead of your booking so that they can have it freshly prepared for you. Go. You won 't be disappointed.
We live quite close by to Cala and have been visiting this restaurant for years. IT’s consistently excellent. Carlos and his staff are friendly and accommodating. My wife is a coeliac and unlike some other restaurants on the island have plenty of gluten free choices. We had lunch there today and the grilled squid is superb. Highly recommend this restaurant. Make sure you book.
Great food in an authentic ambience, we even had a view beachside. Fabulous fish and great wines too.had read from previous reviews that the owner could be grumpy,this certainly was not our experience, fabulous service all evening and the place was packed , we have booked for a second dinner
Fantastic local restaurant. Cannot understand negative comments the owner was front of house and very personable. Obviously he is very proud of their reputation for serving excellent fish. The monkfish and sole were first class. Would definitely recommend and revisit.
