When we went into the restaurant, we knew he'd drop us and that's how it was. We got here by the hour and they treated us no problem. the very good and very attentive service, the waiter recommended us both drink and food and the truth is that it was right in everything. We caught three dishes to share and I wouldn't know what got us anymore: the cod was perfect, the octopus accompanied by the truffle parmentier gave it a very good touch and the squid with all black oli part of tasty was at the perfect point of cooking. The truth is that we already want to come back to try other dishes!

Nice atmosphere, excellent service, nice Spanish wine on the list. Typical Catalan dishes with some little original interpretation. They use local product (km O), the menu is not always the same, it depends by the avability of the fresh products that they buy locally. I suggest it if you are looking for a informal cozy place that doesn 't sound just for tourists

We loved our meal at Cal Trapella! We were welcomed very warmly, and the staff were great at explaining the menu to us. The food was excellent especially the mushroom croquettes! We only wish we had found this place sooner than our last night in Barcelona, but if we ever come back, we know where we’ll be eating first!
