I’m at a loss for words. I had a reservation for a special evening and drove all the way there, only to find the restaurant closed. It was quite an embarrassing experience, to say the least. Since they are affiliated with the Best Western hotel, I spoke to the front desk clerk, who mentioned that this happens frequently. They really need to sort things out; if they are going to be closed, they should make that clear.
Cala di Mare is in dire need of a competent chef.Here is a very attractive venue with a welcoming staff, providing fair service with a great Jazz duo adding to the ambience only to be dis-illusioned by the food itself.Tasteless,is the only word that comes to mind.We chose Cala di Mare because we were fans of the Musicians,but we will never dine there again.
I selected this restaurant according to the name because my wife likes sea food... however, as a steak lover, my Rib eye steak was superb. great atmosphere, friendly owner and free parking in the heart of the town, made our outing a very pleasant experience. well done Roberto.
Roberto and Chef Edward introduced a new special entree, and it was outstanding! The branzino, baked in parchment paper with mussels, clams, and vegetables, was absolutely delicious. I hope this dish becomes a permanent addition to the menu! Réservez une table maintenant

Cala di Mare Excellent food, my wife enjoy salmon and grilled shrimp special. My choice was roasted duck and was absolutely delicious. Definitely coming back!!!
