In a little gem of a beach in the area of Lloret del Mar, Cala Treumal reveals itself as a paradise behind a thick pine forest. I was there on the pick of the summer and it was busy. I 'm not going to pretend otherwise. We stopped for lunch in our journey suggested by the sat nav. What a good surprise!. A 'chiringuito ' is Spanish slang for hut/pop up restaurant on the edge of the water. Anyone that visits Spain during the holidays may have come across to them in all shape and sizes, serving from snacks to ice creams to beer to anything that gets you buy on a day at the beach. Some of them very convenient, some others rather overpriced. But this one was by far the best we encounter this summ...
Cala Treumal was a bit of surprise to us. The quality of the restaraunt was much better than expected from a beachside place. Pulpo a la Gallegowas excellent, one of the best I tried in Catalunya. Calamari Frito a la Romana was also great. Beer was also very conveniently cold as one must expect on a hot sunny day. My friends loved gambas a la plancha and kids were happy with escalope and burger. Service was impeccable. I highly recommend the restaraunt to those who have vacation and spend it on St Christina beach.
Una vez mas un restaurante espectacular, situado a pie de playa con vistas, y la comida riquisima, pero no podemos ponerle 5 estrellas por el servicio, lentisimo y caoticos, todavia estoy esperando una fanta y un tenedor para mi hijo que pedi 3 veces y no lo trajeron
Local cinco estrellas dónde comer un buen arroz de marisco o unas tapas con vistas espectaculares. Lo mejor de todo, el servicio al público (creo que nos atendió Arnau, o eso ponía el ticket). Muchas gracias por atendernos tan bien, volveremos seguro. Réservez une table maintenant
