I bought food from here and considering I’ve never been there and every other Caribbean restaurant I’ve been to serve’s basmati rice.I bought my food and went home to find it was long grain rice and I hate long grain rice, so I drove all...the way back and kindly told them and asked for a refund or to change my order and considering I spent I thought they would be able to do so but they told me “there’s nothing we can do as u left the shop” but very clearly I had been there minutes ago and hadn’t even touched the food !! Very unhappy and wouldn’t go back for that reason or recommend it to anyone. Any other restaurant would have either given us our money back and taken the food back or change...

Whilst visiting London we were searching for a places to eat in the local area and this place popped up, The Calabash Restaurant in Stratford, England. Everything about this restaurant was great. The place was clean and smelled good. The staff was super friendly and...also worked as a team in bringing and cleaning up our food. The food was fresh and awesome and exquisite. We ate, Salt fish with veggies; curry chicken with rice and plantains; Pattie’s; bakes; to name a few. I loved that you get a lot of food for your money. Then we also had dessert (carrot cake) and that was really good as well. Great atmosphere with really nice people. The menus options are an excellent value. The dining exp...

I've been going to Calabash regularly for the last few years, as it's local to work. I love Jamaican food, as all my family are Jamaican, and I like to support my own. Unfortunately, almost every time I visit there, the staff are unwelcoming, unfriendly,...slow, and genuinely seem like they hate being there. The food is very hit and miss, on several occasions I asked for gravy with the meal, only to find that it's not there when I get to work or home. How long is this stereotypical behaviour going to continue? It's so unnecessary, and is an all too familiar representation of Jamaicans.

The food is ok not the best had cow foot and the food was burnt.the customer service is horrible and workers are rude. Especially the old Indian woman she does not have no manners and is disrespectful to customers and does not have no people's...skills. I will definitely not be coming back there . If a place has bad service I mean very bad service how do u ment to feel comfortable in the shop. It's a shame the shop is clean and nice but this Indian woman is just horrible and mean and rude .like I said I will never return again

Shocking customer service. Arrived to dine in and was totally ignored by staff. No smile or acknowledgement of our presence. And there were only customers who were already seated. So, we left and went to Nandos which was. Fantastic in all areas.
