Family of 4 brunch was $160. Willing to pay for great meal but this wasn’t a $160 meal or experience. Took forever to get seated in the empty restaurant while they looked for rag to wipe table. Then the omelet station wasn’t ready (we were 1st customers around 11:30 they opened 11am). Food was very good. Just suggest they use labels for people with food allergies or preferences. We had to guess what each item was. Desert did not exist. They only had store bought cookies on a table. At the price point, there’s much better brunch options in the St Pete area.
Was disappointed the only option for Sunday Brunch was the $28 buffet. I prefer fresh cooked meals and not to overindulge too much. However, the buffet food was tasty for what it was. The service was poor with our server doing double duty as the bartender and having tables. Drinks were very slow to get to us and we had to put used buffet plates on an empty table to make room for our second trip. There was lots of other staff there that could’ve helped. Sad to see the restaurant was practically empty. I think it’s a good concept but execution is poor.
it is a very charming room and our server maya could not have been nicer. we ordered blackened grouper and got what like wels also seemed ordered tenderloin tips but got....not try to be excessively coy, but it was overcooked and hard to cut. the green beans and macn cheese were soggy and appeared directly from the box/canister. in consideration of what we have paid and our modest expectations, that a star evaluation is useful.
Food was absolutely delicious wait staff was knowledgeable and made great recommendations. Though was slow and did not time courses well. We found ourselves waiting for each course and had to ask for refills. Help did come from members of wait staff. The food was worth it and I think this is a great spot to check out for yourself. I certainly now have a better understanding of the Floribean cuisine and I like it..

After we had to wait about 10 minutes or so that the waitress comes to our table(2nd visit and 2nd time this happened), we had a very good meal. the waitress was very friendly and helpful, so we initially overlooked that she was ignored for the second time. hopefully the third time will be the charm as we will give him another chance!
Cornbread was a little burned, sweet potatoe fries were disappointing. Good fried chicken! My husband loved the chick pea soup and fried cat fish.
Good food, different unique flavors. The family enjoyed it. The waitress was very nice and on top of things.
the first PIECE-SAXOPHONE made callaloo more pleasant. I'll be back to callaloo and bring more friens
