Place was a mess. It would have been better to camp in the middle of nowhere. Don’t book here please, spend the extra $20 a night and take your family somewhere they will really enjoy. They will thank you for it. Bears run around here with no guards or anyone on duty. You must bring your own bear spray even when in the campground . Bathrooms are worst than most truck stops
I didn't visit the restaurant, but the area around it is stunning. Walking along the riverbank and enjoying the picnic area a bit higher up offers pure tranquility, and it's completely free. Just remember to purchase your parking pass in advance for the authorized lots. In California, you can get a park pass for just $5 at any 7-Eleven.
This is a fantastic spot for hiking and mountain biking, especially if you're an experienced rider. Cathy, the cafe chef, is delightful and prepares delicious food. It's an excellent destination for a day trip or camping adventure.
Loved the area and the people Parking: The cafe has a few parking spots but when it's busy it can be hard to get that parking but you can always get a parking pass and attempt to find parking on the sides of the road.. Réservez une table maintenant
A great place to hike, ride up and down the mountain if you’re a skilled bike rider. Cathy the cafe chef is sweet and makes great food. Great place for a day drip of camping.
This is a lovely spot for a lunch break. I found the prices a bit high for what was offered, but the drive through the canyon made it worthwhile.
The staff was amazing and continued to check on us. Chili cheese fries were AMAZING!! Hope to go to the campground next time around.
Great spot to stop for a drink, treat or mid ride meal. Super nice people. Spots outside to sit with your bikes. Réservez une table maintenant
