Nous avons un repas offert à Premier classe pour 12,90 €, y compris une boisson alcoolisée ! Nous voulions réchauffer le ventre comme nous avions moins de zéro température. Nous avons opté pour le Thaï Curry. J'ai choisi le bar à salades et j'ai choisi les déserts pour que nous puissions être vilains et en faire trois repas de cours. Quand le curry est arrivé, il semblait si drabe que nous avons réellement Googled et a montré au serveur une photo de ce à quoi un Thaï Curry devrait ressembler. Le nôtre était gris et ne faisait pas appel à manger. Le serveur était vraiment ok avec ça et nous pourrions échanger pour des poissons et des chips. C'était vraiment bon et savoureux. Well... expected better. Its an all you can eat starter so fill up with as much as you can eat, we stayed at a local budget hotel on the way South, and like others wandered in to this restaurant, we needed food. Not many people in so no atmosphere, eat pay go. Main meal options a little confusing, and a strange taste to the beef, avoid the beef I would say. Fish looked ok, although it was described as salmon, it was nothing like any salmon I know. Decided that we would find somewhere else to eat on the way back home. The starter food was the best choice and can't fault that part of the meal. Overall expensive nearly 100 Euro's for three people and we didn't have expensive drinks, in fact one...
Stayed at a nearby budget hotel and ate here as a discount was offered. After a long journey we arrived at 8:50. The staff didn't seem too pleased by our arrival time even though the restaurant isn't supposed to close until 10pm. Buffet of appetisers had very little left so was very poor value at more than 10 euro. Main course (Paupiette of Veal and fries, no veg) poorly presented, very small and poor value. By 9:30 the staff were clearing up around us and seemed keen to get rid of us. I have stayed at and eaten at Campanile hotels many times in the past but not for a few years. I doubt I'll be back unless there is no other alternative.
I have always found the menus will have something for everyone. Prices are reasonable. The location means no long walk to find a restaurant after a long days drive. This time we both opted for the salad bar and cheese dessert menu. The salad bar was fresh and a good selection. 4 types of cheese and plenty of choice of desserts, including fresh fruit. Rester à cet hôtel pendant 2 nuits après que ma voiture a débarqué sur l'autoroute qui voyage de San Maxine à Cherbourg. Clotilde était si gentil que j'étais très contrariée. Tout le personnel est un crédit pour l'hôtel. J'avais 2 dîners et ils étaient excellents. La chambre était très propre. Je le recommanderais certainement.
Clean with modern deco but lack charm and was noisy (Reception, plus small bar area all in same area as restaurant) Food was bland although well presented, felt more like a fast food restaurant, service matter of fact, Disappointing and not what we would expect from Campanile
