The campingplace is outdated. The places are pretty alright (100-120sqm) No water nearby on tap, have to gather from the sanitairbuilding. The WiFi connection was weak. The grass wasn't mown in what feels like 3 months. The sanitair building is in open air. There for highly recommend this place only when the weather is above 20*C. We were there when it was 10-15*C, the shower water is not hot, but warm. To exit in open air and get 10*C, not very nice. Although it's getting less and less common, this place doesn't offer Toiletpaper. Not worth to come here with kids. Good and fast connection to Champagnole. About 15km away from Cascades du Herrison. Owners were very kind and open.
We have been coming to Camping du Bivouac in Pont du Navoy for 4 years, the welcome is always as warm and the owners are adorable. We systematically take the Nemo chalets, which include a kitchen area, toilet and shower area, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed, as well as a bedroom with 1 bunk bed, and to make a terrace to be able to enjoy the calm of the campsite ! You will also find a restaurant in the campsite to enjoy a good meal at an affordable price.
Les propriétaires sont adorables... très attentifs à leurs clients. Les emplacements de camping me rappellent ma jeunesse... accueillants... où les gens se retrouvaient... pas des emplacements de camping axés sur l'argent... avec un toboggan... une voiture en panne... lolo quel atout pour aider. De plus, il y a une superbe rivière pour se baigner à venir découvrir. Chambres : 4 Service : 4
Very nice campsite by the river in which you can swim. A large number of shaded pitches, however no hedges for privacy.
