Eat here several times whilst staying at the Sandseele camp site. It's a location to die for, with views over Lake Constance (Bodensee), which is particularly renowned for its spectacular sunsets. The restaurant is hectic throughout the day, with a large counter where you place...your food and drink orders. The staff behind the counter are very helpful and friendly. The menu is pinned up on a series of boards outside the restaurant it may sound a bit chaotic, but the food itself is great, with delicious fish from the lake and fresh vegetables from the island of Reichenau. The local secco from the island is recommended.
it is only open in summer, between mai and august. very good food for good prices and they enjoy their eating directly on the sea beach. very beautiful view, they do not have to stay at the campsite to eat there they can come and...Park the car (free) and also the beach. there is a shower, but still everything free. I love to go there and enjoy eating and watching swimming. the rich is called the obst- and leisure island, because there are many organic food farms to be found and you buy xan dinge directly from velvet shops by framer. one of the best places in Lake Constance (lake)
Stayed on the campsite in August, it was very busy but very well run and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The pitch were we stayed (unmarked) was near the recycling but there was no smell or noise. Restaurant busy but the food was beautiful and fresh and catered for vegetarian needs. Stunning location and an absolute must for families who wish to explore the near by countries. Only one minus - mosquito, and they unfortunately limited out time out of an evening .
a night in the tent area with another dozen tents. in the round there is also a small private floor in this area. we could not sleep all night for a party and ask to stop it at 1:30 o'clock, we have no result....The fact to the owner and the answer I had been busy. it didn't look like it happened for the first time. asked for a refund and the answer was nothing of my business.

I have returned to this restaurant a few times over the years and have yet to be disappointed. Prices are fair and the self service system actually makes sense. The biggest challenge is to get a table as you cannot reserve and simply have to...lie in wait for a table to become available. But even if you don't get one you can just eat on one of the benches near the restaurant.
Probably one of the best sunsets at the Lake of Constance. This restaurant used to be really excellent esp for fish. Service was always a problem but this year also the quality of the food has really deteriorated and the choice also is limited. What...a shame!
where three friends go after a great evening. we choose sandseele on richau in the bottom lake. what a hit, right in the center of the bullenauge. big eat and even bigger people. beside a phenomenal brilliant sunset and beach feel. my God, go!
A restaurant with a truly nice view of the lake with a very good food. Don' t miss the sunset from the terrace and don' t forget to try the wine that is made in the island of Reichenau, which is very good. A really...good place for couples.
