Campus Hertenstein

stay in the weggis I remembered earlier visits that hertenstein was a pleasant, quiet walk from our hotel. this time we went once at the beginning of the holiday, wander there and back for the sheer pleasure, although on an off-cool day weather wise. on this...Occcasion had just drinks and sat outside to watch the world and the nearby ship station activity. for the second time we went to the end of our holiday on an extended walk behind hertenstein down to the shore of the Kusnacht arm of the luzernsee and over the land to the back cafe meadow, unintentionally over the private road! so the refreshments were very welcome at a hot, sunny day and this time we enjoyed a light lunch of makkaroni, which was served by a pleasant employee at our table near the lake. recommended as a useful stop point, but I think it could be very busy in the high season. this time we brought the short boat trip back to weggis.

One of the worst experiences i had in switzerland. I had the room with lake view and they gave me the worst view on the lake ruined by kids area and trees, the only room that you can see all this from. and when i wanted to change they said its not possible. The carpets in the room smelled bad and it was freezing outside and there was no hot water barely warm.the staff was not helpful and not understanding at all. Specially the indian guy

this caffe offers good food, but is very expensive. the burgers and salates are in order. the burglar was very good. they also have wine on their menu. beautiful terrace on the sea side with a small playground for the small children. the boat terminal. right next door.

we were in the hotel hertenstein and had a quick lunch at our arrival. great location. we ordered hornli, Wienerli and flammkuchen. all good, but small portions. quite expensive for a self-service café. but the location is great!

the steamer was here and had dessert and tee. what a nice place to sit and relax and enjoy some sun. my mother-in-law makes better pancakes, but not in this local!
