We were having dinner last night at this restaurant in this beautiful town. It has a well-kept and beautiful patio where there was live music, which made our dinner much more enjoyable. The food is very good, it shows that it is very careful and with good quality products. The only downside is that, when we ordered all the starters to share between two, they took everything out at the same time and the prawns ended up being cold (but with a very good flavor). The dessert that was recommended to us was a complete success. Very good attention from the service. In addition, they brought us a container of mosquito repellent as soon as we arrived, which, although there was none, it is appreciated...
Can Mimosa is a real authentic al fresco find, an old finca situated in the lovely village of Saint Gertrudis. Welcomed by super friendly hosts Holly and Pedro we were seated in an atmospheric garden to feast on the menu that draws from local farm to table produce. The local burrata and tomatoes were incredible and we shared the Chuleton steak for two from the grill for our main which had various cuts of beef all different and delicious. We also shared the Crema Catalan for dessert which is something we will attempt to make in the UK, like a creme brûlée which uses cinnamon instead of vanilla. Can Mimosa is a must visit for anyone coming to Ibiza in any season. We’ll be back.
An amazing meal that rivals the best food we've had on Ibiza, with nothing going to waste and every morsel eaten. The fresh, unpasteurised, Burrata was incredible, as was the bass and the broccoli side dish. The staff were also attentive and friendly. Definitely one of the best places we've eaten on the island and surprisingly well hidden given the quality and the great price. Highly recommended to anyone thinking about it. It was great.
This place is a real hidden treasure! Highly recommend. The customer service is amazing, just like the food and drinks!! Sure, the mosquitoes are annoying but they provide a repellent spray to help with that! A must see in my opinion.
