My husband and I got sucked in like the rest) by the incredible views. Unfortunately the service and food didn't match. Sat there for 15 mins waiting for our order to be taken. We ordered the lamb cutlets. When the food finally arrived, the lamb was mostly fat, chips were hard as a rock and the side salad was basic few lettuce leaves and a slice of tomato. Asked the waitress if we could get some Aioli, never came. Asked for our bill 3 times!! by multiple waitresses... again, ignored. Finally after 10 to 15 mins waiting and watching those same waitresses take other people's orders, serve drinks etc. Someone finally attended to us. But only after I got up and chased after one of them. •Overpri...
We booked a table for six at 2:00 pm and a few days in advance I called again to confirm. We arrived on time and were asked to wait outside for 30 minutes. At 2:30 pm we were finally seated and ordered the food. At 3:30 pm, one hour later, we were still waiting for the first course. We decided it was enough and left the restaurant. The owner had all the time an arrogant attitude and she didn’t apologize. ______________________________________________ Fornalutx és sens dubte un dels pobles més hermosos de Mallorca. The food we had was good (grilled squid with salad, stuffed squid with potatoes . However, the service was indifferent and when we left and went to say goodbye the waitress (manager? turned her back on us and didn’t bother to respond. This typified the evening, which was such a shame as the setting is beautiful, looking out across the mountains. Would we go there again? No. There are places with food at least as good and with more atmosphere and staff who want their customers to enjoy themselves. Disappointing.
Feel sad to write this as has a lovely experience there 4 years ago and returned today with children for drinks or lunch before the kitchen opened at 11.55. Service was rude and unwelcoming they didn’t seem to want us there and when I walked towards the terrace to look at the view I was shouted at because it had rained. Really unpleasant. Just wish they had been a bit nicer. Réservez une table maintenant
It was very hot when we arrived in Fornalutx. We found Ca N'Antuna near to the bus stop. The restaurant is open aired and looks down on the town. Though the staff were very hot (no air-conditioning), they served up a treat. We had a mix of salad, mixed sea-food and lamb chops. All delicious and washed down with a nice cold glass of cava. I would highly recommend!
This restaurant is clearly relying on the views for customers. Four of us went there this week. Three of us ordered the suckling pig just awful hard uneatable skin and very little meat accompanied by overcooked chips and a dried out salad. The service was indifferent and my daughter said she was still hungry afterwards. Cost 118 euros. Will never return.
