A great find situated in the hills only a few ks from the wild west town of La Jonquera The €25 three course lunch was a bargain: Coquilles St Jacques, generously sized veal entrecote followed by the chocliest of chocolate puddings I have ever had. Coffee and amuse bouche is also included and as a bonus, my wife was given a limoncello. Booking as advised as the restaurant was full on our midweek visit. We will definitely return
Visited twice while touring in our camper van and staying at their excellent aire. Both times the welcome was very warm and the food excellent. As for previous review about being greeted in French, not Spanish, the majority of their clientele are French, being not far from the border. Being English I’m more interested in the quality of the welcome than the language it’s spoken in!!
Pleasantly surprised if not stunned by this place. Very unassuming, dull exterior, and vast, brilliant and chic, modern interior. Very high standard, top class and quality French-like cuisine with rich, tasty and plentiful food. Excellent value and perfect for either special occasions or your everyday lunch. Would be nice if such a restaurant existed in France.
Food, service and ambience were excellent. We have eaten in many places nearby and this is the best. The owner is a lovely gentleman who looked after us beautifully. The €25 menu was very good indeed, the scallop starter was incredible. All 7 of us agree with the above comments, it was faultless. Réservez une table maintenant

This is a gem, the kind of place you will recall visiting for many years to come. The ambience and the food are simply superb. Go there, you will not be disappointed. I can say no more.
We stayed in the hostel and the 2 nights we spent there supper in the can pau. It was a pleasant discovery since we ate very well and were very well attended! That's how we'll be safe!
The restaurant was almost full but we got a table outside for my family of five and parents in law. They were nice and liked kids. Amazing food! Thank you! Réservez une table maintenant
