Canal Side Inn - Réserver une table

Great food, chef, owner, find. Felt like we were in the owner and chef's family kitchen. Their warmth and fabulous food made up for a somewhat vanilla dining room. Place was packed though and after we were served our meal I know why. Real talent here. One note is that they were out of both limes and bread when we arrived and we had a 5:30 reservation , so a gin and tonic was served with a lemon ! until someone could get to the store. I only noticed the bread missing because there was butter on the table and no bread to go with it so I asked. At some point bread and lime appeared, and our dinners and dessert! more than made up for this slight lack of planning...worth the drive for out of towners to sample this gem of a place in Little Falls.

We were traveling for several hours arrived early and hungry! The Chef welcomed us in sat us at a nice table for 2. We had individual attention as we were the only ones for a while. Our waiter lit the candle on the table, answered my questions, and took our order. He was polite, timely, very efficient with each course of our meal. My steak was excellent and my husband’s meatloaf was outstanding! Everything was delicious and perfect! We will definitely be back!!
