Canal Tavern - Réserver une table

We went for Sunday lunch with four generations of our family. I had made a reservation in advance and was given a general idea of where we would be seated. When we arrived at around 1pm, the place was bustling, but we received a warm welcome and were promptly shown to our table. A hospitable waitress gave us the choice to order drinks immediately or to wait for the rest of our family to arrive. She also explained the unique and very effective food ordering system. She double-checked my 90-year-old father's order after we placed it, sharing a joke with him while remaining patient and respectful of his age. We made a reservation for the Sunday carvery to celebrate a family birthday earlier this month. Our group of 22 received excellent service from the moment we booked until the meal itself. The staff were efficient and attentive, ensuring that everyone at our table was well taken care of. The food was delicious and the order slips made the dining experience seamless. Special dietary requirements, such as vegetarian and gluten intolerance, were accommodated without any trouble. I cannot thank the staff at the Tavern enough for making my birthday celebration memorable.

Visited yesterday (Sunday) for lunch with my family. The food was so very good. Plenty to suit even the biggest appetite. Good choice of meats and vegetables all with a Yorkshire Pudding. The place was so busy, tables being redressed ready for the next customer. The waiting staff were so very friendly and efficient and smiley too! Nothing too much trouble. Well done to Yvonne and Nicky and the team. Would urge early booking to avoid disappointment.

The service was outstanding as usual. The new menu is exceptional with options for everyone. We have already booked for Christmas Day this year. Keep up the great work - we are big fans of your pie!

We popped in bit late on a Tuesday evening we were told the Kitchen was just closing but ALEX did a wonderful job … accommodated us she was really very good top service GREAT FOOD thank you Alex !
