We stayed at the Hotel Cándido at the end of August, we had known it for years. It has not disappointed us, a very nice hotel run by very friendly staff. The reception is simply beautiful, the large and comfortable rooms complemented by a bathroom that is simply very well designed. The garden and terrace area was deliciously decorated, at night it was beautiful and it is a luxury to have a coffee there while you chat, by the way in Segovia we had paid €9.60 for three small tubs of ice cream, at the hotel for 2ídos, a coffee and a glass of milk €8.80 served in the garden, great. The rooms are super spacious, as is the bathroom, which is also huge, with a bathtub, shower, two sinks and separate spaces for the toilet, although it lacks some details that could have been incorporated, such as a shower head on the ceiling. The spa is small with few jets, it only has two, a jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish bath, but the massages are very good. Otherwise the hotel is large with a stately appearance, it is not a modern and avant-garde hotel, on the contrary it is like a small old castle. We have been very calm, I have given it a few less stars because I think that for the type of hotel it is and for the money it costs, they should take a little more care of the details, due to the fact that the toilet lid was dirty and broken, there were hairs in the bathtub that were not ours as we found them the day we arrived, the carpet had some stains and so did the armchairs. We stayed for lunch and had a very good meal, the service was cordial but the workers could be a little nicer.
