It's not just the food. A good restaurant is service. Is the place clean? Does the staff make you feel good? Of course the bottom line is what you get for your money. We arrived from a hotel 30 kilometers away. Near the hotel the restaurants were closed. We found the restaurant easily. Parking is a bit problematic. The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is pleasant. We ate fish and a vegetarian dish and a dessert dish. It was delicious and the bottom line is I paid €30. So if you are near Viseu and want to have a good meal this is a good restaurant.

Durante o S. Mateus É justo termos decidido visitar este restaurante. O tema do restaurante e arte exibiu e simplesmente espetacular tornando-o uma atmosfera acolhedora e convidativa. A comida é deliciosa e notoriamente fresca e o tempo de espera não excedeu 15 minutos, pedimos um bife de 3 pimentas e uma francesinha. Todos os funcionários são prestativos e atenciosos. Recomendar

We tried a few veal dishes, a regional wine and a mandatory cafezinho. Everything was delicious and cooked for perfection. The staff is from this world. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.
