I was in the ice cream shop on Sunday evening. I asked for two Shamrock Shakes. I noticed when I placed the order that the young workers weee not sure on how to make one. An adult explained it and then she was gone. The line was long after me and I noticed that they were confused on who was ordering the shamrock shakes. I was passed up once, meaning my shamrock shakes were given to a customer behind me. I asked the young worker not to forget about me. He did acknowledge me and once again gave away my shamrock shakes to another customer behind me. When they were finally ready to give me my order, they only handed me one shake and realized they needed to make another one. By now I am frustrate...
If you're in Mount Prospect and craving a delicious dessert, Capanari Ice Cream is the place to go. My husband and I visited with a Meetup group to indulge in something sweet. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a long line stretching out the door and down the stairs. Thankfully, the line moved at a decent pace. We decided to order an ice cream scoop flight to sample a variety of flavors. Although the flight was described as featuring "baby scoops," we were pleasantly surprised with full-sized scoops. By the time we finished, we were quite full! The ice cream was delightful, and we enjoyed all four flavors we tried. Afterward, there's a lovely little park nearby where you can enjoy your treats....
A true gem in Mount Prospect! While ice cream usually tastes the same to me, this place stands out. The flavors are rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. I tried their choco taco, and I'm completely in love with it! You can choose from a variety of toppings like Oreos and sprinkles, though I can’t remember all of them. It can get quite messy, and the photo I took of it in the box doesn’t do it justice, but the taste is an explosion of flavor. The store is small, but there’s plenty of outdoor seating. It seems to be run by some very respectful and polite young people! Overall, it made for a truly special visit.
It 's ok. Ice cream is too gummy /sticky for me. Flavors are ok but nothing that is so amazing. I prefer the Rainbow Ice Cream located inside Buona Beef in Mt Prospect.Some staff are friendly, some are adequate. No indoor seating. Outdoor seating is in a park so that 's a plus. However, if it rains, you are SOL. I will come by if people I am with really want to go. Otherwise, I prefer Rainbow Ice Cream.

Hot summer evenings call for a cool off and nothing better than hand scooped ice cream. Never heard of this place but was nearby and let me tell you, it hit the spot! Busy yet very efficiently served with a smile. All encapsulated in a historic location and a nice courtyard once out the door.Capannari's is the perfect summer stop!
Delicious, creamy, and thick ice cream. The restaurant is situated in an old house, and there can be long lines. The beautiful outdoor patio adds to the charm, and there was live music during my visit. I loved the ambiance, and the overall experience was fantastic. It's definitely a must-visit for any ice cream enthusiast.
Local ice cream place located in quiet Mt Prospect. Cute place to enjoy ice cream in there garden courtyard. Service and quality of ice cream is amazing. They have some very great flavors. I recommend the cherry chip and coconut chip, both are so flavorful and can pack a punch.
THE FREAKIN BEST ICE CREAM IN TOWN! I am a lover for the Black Raspberry Chip but anything I have tried hasn't served me wrong
