I'm not from New Jersey, so maybe these prices are typical here, but I was really surprised to find the seafood here was just as affordable, if not cheaper, than what I'm used to in Ohio. I was pleasantly surprised by how DELICIOUS this meal was. When the plate first arrived, I was sad that I was being given a bag of chips as the side... I wonder if I could have substituted for actual fries. But, the fish soft taco wrap was truly so delicious. This is on the Washington street mall, and as we had arrived early, we paid a fortune in quarters for a two hour parking spot. Cape May Fish Market served the worst lobster rolls I've ever had, featuring small, stale pieces of mostly lobster claw meat. I was let down by New Jersey Monthly's recommendation of this place as a must-visit for lobster rolls on the Jersey Shore. As a fish market, they surprisingly offered no fresh fish at all. To top it off, the manager was quite rude. If you're looking for a great beach with soft sand and a better amusement park than Coney Island, I recommend taking a quick drive to Wildwood, New Jersey instead. Réservez une table maintenant
Came here for dinner the other night and it didn't disappoint. The menu had a nice amount of things to choose from. I had the lobster roll which came with coleslaw and fries and my husband had the crab cake grilled cheese. The lobster was fresh and wasn't chewy. One of the best lobster rolls I ever had. My husband also enjoyed his meal. The waiter explained their crab cakes are homemade with little fillers. Would definitely love to come back!
The wine is reasonable, the seafood is fresh and tasty, and the service was excellent! I ordered a rare tuna steak and it was perfectly cooked! It was absolutely rare in the center and nicely seasoned. We got the mini crab cake special as an appetizer, and there were fresh lumps of crab. The crab cakes were so good I omitted the tarter sauce and just ate it with lemon.
This restaurant offers a delicious Lobster Roll, which was a major factor in our decision to visit, and it definitely lived up to our expectations. The seating is a bit cramped, especially during busy times, but I appreciated how they were willing to rearrange our seats if we weren't in the best spot.
