Cap'n Cats Clam Tavern

I advise against visiting this restaurant. The food and service were both terrible. My friend and I were disappointed as the glasses were dirty, the crab legs were tasteless, overcooked, dry, and rubbery, the scallops were very small, rubbery, and drenched in oil, and the fried fish was flavorless, overcooked, and overly oily. The waitress completely ignored us throughout our meal. After traveling 30 minutes and spending $76.77, we received garbage in return. We will not be returning and will not be recommending this restaurant to anyone.

My partner and I went to Captain Cat's and it was extremely crowded. Despite waiting over 20 minutes, a group of 3 was seated with drinks and menus before us. Frustrated, we decided to leave. A few days later, we gave it another chance. This time, the restaurant was almost empty. We ordered queen crab legs at $60.00 per pound but they arrived partially frozen. Disappointed with our experience, we will not be returning to Captain Cat's.

I come to this restaurant every week and have been coming for over ten years. It is the best seafood restaurant in South Jersey. The front of the restaurant is wheelchair accessible with a ramp, but the bar is not. The price per person is between $10-20. The food and service both receive a rating of 5.

This restaurant can best be described as a hidden gem with delicious food. Located near a fish market, it has a bar in the back that is popular among locals, who like to keep it a secret. While the decor may not be fancy, the quality of the food is excellent. Overall, the dining experience was great. Réservez une table maintenant

This restaurant is terrible, it's dirty and all the food is frozen and not fresh. I was very disappointed and wouldn't recommend eating here. The price per person is $10–20, with a rating of 1 for food, 2 for service, and 2 for atmosphere. There is plenty of parking available in a free parking lot.

My wife had a fantastic birthday dinner at this restaurant. The price per person ranges from $30 to $50. We rated the food a 4 out of 5, the service a 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 4 out of 5. We highly recommend the Fried Oysters and Clam Chowder.

Cap’n Cats has the best Cajun Catfish. It is well seasoned, could be better if it was hot. I will continue to go there because the service is great and I like the catfish. The atmosphere is so so. Try take out. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
