11/29/21 This place has a decent lunch menu and specials with most items less than $10. Nothing was extraordinary but a solid lunch location for Italian bar food. This time, I had the calzone and naked wings. The calzone was good. The wings were all drumettes (not sure why there were not flappers) and I ordered the sauce on the side. They were slightly dry but crispy for the nice crunch. The hot sauce, which I was told was made inhouse, was vinegar based and not very hot or complex in flavor. Again, nothing extraordinary but gets the job done. I'll be back to try some of their other offerings. Definitely worth a try.
We decided to check out this restaurant because we were looking for a place to watch the NFL games during the season. Even though it is now February and there is no football, we were a group of 24 with a fantastic server. The service was great and our food came out quickly. I enjoyed a delicious salad with plenty of chicken, while my husband had a large portion of chicken parmesan with spaghetti. The complimentary dinner salad was also quite generous. The portions were so big that the meal could have easily been shared. We will definitely be returning when football season is back!
As for the hot wings, they were a letdown. Instead of actual wings, the dish consisted of fried sticks with some fatty pieces attached to mimic wings. The sauce was bland and failed to mask the fact that these were not real wings. The dish was dry and unappetizing. In hindsight, I should have taken the bartender's advice and gone for the garlic bread appetizer. Overall, the experience was underwhelming and I would advise others to listen to the bartender's recommendations. The server was friendly and accommodating, however. Enjoy your meal.
This restaurant serves authentic Italian cuisine with ample portions and has a classic ambiance with excellent service. It is a popular spot among both locals and tourists. I have fond memories of dining here as a child, surrounded by unfamiliar faces in the photographs lining the walls. Although it may not have achieved the status of a historical landmark yet, it surely deserves it. It is a perfect destination for a family outing or a cozy gathering of old friends over wine at the bar. Réservez une table maintenant
This place used to have the best pizza and spaghetti sauce and the whole Clearwater the last five times we’ve been back there’s been something wrong but we were just giving them the benefit of the doubtSpaghetti sauce is so salty you can’t eat itTonight was the last straw we ordered veggie pizza had no veggies no spaghetti sauce It was mozzarella cheese and we had ordered thin crust. No thin crust.They made us another pizza and it was adequate but as I said it’s the last time
Christ and the bands have everything under control. great local for cakes and drinks. eating is much above average and beer is ice cold. the baseball memorabilia is amazing and would last a week just to see everything. keep them on truck cognas. pop would be proud.
