We went looking for a place to eat, but one did not do food and the other was closed. This looked popular with locals ... no tables left ... we had to stand and then grabbed two seats at the counter. Local wines at €2 a glass ... good wine ... good value. Piementos .. the cheapest we had had all holiday ... 6 for €2 ... so you decide how much you want to spend ... but are there NO HOT pepppers left in the world anymore ... the Gindillias were also not hot ... : The red tuna was heavenly and much better than other dishes we had ... the 1/2 portion of iberian pork was more than sufficient, but proably too strong a taste for the remainder of the meal ... the server did a good job of delivering...
I went here three times during my stay in the area. The squid, sardines and various pork dishes were delicious as were the patatas huevos. Prompt service and reasonably priced €38:00 for three people including 7 dishes, wines a beer and soft drinks). It is only a small place and I noticed that the few tables inside were reserved on the Sunday I was there but there are tables outside.
I went to this small restaurant for a branch and I have to say that everything was perfect. The level of the local ham cut in sleeves directly on spot is really excellent. Try the chipirones a la plancha and experience the anchovies done in different ways Ideal for a quick stop and for a branch it offers also a very good quality meat cooked very well
Visited Capricho on a weekend just around the corner from the Guggenheim) whose enthusiastic customers just kept coming! I have never, ever seen two guys work so fast, so seemingly effortlessly to manage all and all with a smile. The pintxos were excellent and so was the wine. Well done guys! By far the best place I ate at.

Enjoyed a starter of chipirones (small squid) then a racion of salt cod cheeks (kokotxas de bacalao)-the staff seemed a little apprehensive as these delicacies are an acquired taste due to the texture but they were delicious. 2 skewers of pork to finish, all accompanied by a bottle of albarino. 31 Euros in total.
Excelente calidad. Mejores tortillas y de racion generosa. Amabilidad de los empleado pese a estresarlos. Propietarios muy atentos. Es mi referencia en la zona.
