I used to use the app to order their food they have messed up my order a lot of the time. Even though its written down on the app don't know how they manage that. But I still used them because the prices were decent. I tried to order today but the app was down and told me to call the store. So I did, placed my order and was told it would be an hour. Fair enough happy to wait, it arrived and had a four pounds extra charge on it. I was confused thinking they now do extra delivery charges since normally it's free. Ordered food online tonight from captain cooks. We have never had food from there before. My husband ordered a smurf burger with no taco sauce and I ordered a fish supper and we asked for an extra chip. The fish was completely burnt and rock hard. The burger came with the sauce he didn't want and a big pile of coleslaw in it which he didn't ask for. After scraping all this stuff off the burger was still rotten. Also instead of getting the extra chip we paid for, they just put some extra chips in one of the bags instead. Worst chippy we have ever had. Was in Captain Cooks yesterday with my husband we have been before and were always very happy with the food. But yesterday was a complete disaster. I had a fish never tasted worse my Hubby had egg bacon and chips hard fried egg , which was fried in dirty gravy. It was very busy but no excuse for inedible food. The waitress was very nice and did not charge fot the fish. Not good enough as we had travelled from our own town to eat here. Awful

First time visiting today while passing through the area, food was amazing with such a great selection to choose from, first class service and staff couldn’t have been nicer. Highly recommend.

Food is lovely just make sure you order a couple of days in advance. Very very slow waited 45 minutes on a local delivery then rang to see how much longer to be told another half hour
