First time was about 6 months ago. Had a coupon and got a 2-piece fish fries about 2:30 PM at the drive-through. I ate in the parking lot and it was fresh, hot and delicious. Fast forward to 3/20/21. Got dinner at the drive-through about 5:45 PM. Thegentleman working the drive-through was polite and efficient. My girlfriend had grilled salmon on rice with fried okra and slaw.She said it was pretty good for the price. She thought the included bread stick was really good. I had the Deluxe SeafoodPlatter with slaw and mac cheese. The fish was good. It has a light batter, and is much better than the frozen fish in thegrocery store. The butterfly shrimp was good (could have cooked another minute)...

If you're aiming for a healthier choice on the menu, I suggest opting for broccoli instead of fries, though honestly, the fries are so tasty that most people just can't resist. For those who prefer grilled options, the tilapia is an excellent pick. The staff at Captain D's are friendly and dedicated, and it's common to see familiar faces over time, reflecting a supportive work environment fostered by management.

Although the dining area had already been cleaned, they insisted we could still eat inside without any issues. Since we were towing a trailer, using the drive-thru wasn’t an option for us. The Captain D's in Jonesborough, TN, is by far the nicest, cleanest, and friendliest location I’ve been to among all the Captain D’s restaurants. From placing my order to dining in, the staff were attentive and helpful throughout. The food looked even better than the photos on the menu, with everything served at the perfect temperature—hot dishes were piping hot and cold ones refreshingly chilled. The drink service was also spot on, with timely refills just as you’d expect!

We arrived just before closing this past Saturday night. After several minutes of waiting with no one in sight, a girl eventually came out from the back, explaining that the cameras weren't working and they hadn't noticed us come in. We placed our order, but our meals were disappointing—served with cold, burnt fish. The fries were also cold and hard, and my son's corn on the cob was unfortunately cold as well. Overall, we were very disappointed with our experience.
The staff here were incredibly friendly and engaged with us throughout our visit, which made for a pleasant experience. I noticed that the cashier was openly carrying a sidearm, which I appreciated given the recent rise in public shootings. I will definitely return to this location.

The cashier was wonderful!! Nice sweet and had a smile on her face. She made us feel welcome. Our food on the other hand wasn't good. My fish was old, soggy and cold. My coleslaw was warm. My green beans were ok. Usually we always got fresh hot food.Tonight we didn't.
