The food was fantastic, but they should automatically provide toppings for the baked potatoes. I received a dry potato without any butter, chives, or sour cream. Everything else was amazing, and I really love this place! The only downside is that I don’t have one nearby, as I live in Delcambre, Louisiana.
My gf I was returning home from vacation stopped at the Gulfport location. We was excited because before we left for vacation, we knew that the NEW Captain D's would be open by the time we got back. We used to have to travel to Mobile to get our Captain D's fix !
The green beans weren’t served in a container, and the hushpuppies absorbed the juices. The fries were sitting out too long, but the fish at Captain D's Seafood Kitchen was really good. Overall, the menu has some great offerings!

I had an excellent experience at Captain D's Seafood Kitchen! Even though there was a long line, the food from their menu was fresh, and I managed to get served without a lengthy wait.
The fish sandwich was delicious. I liked the hush puppies and they were better dipped in tarter sauce. The sweet tea was disappointing though. The sign says 20oz but the cup was 12oz.
I've been a loyal customer for many years. I lived in Jackson for 13 years, and I can say that Captain D's serves fantastic food. If you're new in town, make sure to stop by!

"Visit during Jackson State orientation and this is the only nice restaurant there. And the food was great. The egg roll and ribs, salmon and the big juicy pork chop was sooooo good. Was happy I stopped before leaving."
