Captain George's Fish and Chips

Dirty food and contaminated areas. Ken the cook and his wife are handling food and the baby at the same time at the back of their kitchen. I saw them changing the diapers multiple times and went back to cooking without proper hand washing. They actually turned the back kitchen into their house. That's 100% disgusting. Service is worst so give it a zero as most white teenage waiting personnel are not knowledgeable and unfriendly. The atmosphere of the environment is so humid and wet. Floors are always wet. No wonder your food tastes so good because it is cross-contaminated with your kid's diapers and mess.

Great food, very courteous, professional staff, fish batter is always crunchy, fish is always cooked correctly inside. I had a issue with a burger once and they offered to cook me a completely new burger, instead cooking the old one a bit more. I felt this was considerate. Im a big eater, so its expensive for me to eat there. The average appetite should be able to get amain course, a beverage and salad for $30.00. Great view of the trent river, outside tables available.

We've been order here for the last 6 months. Same order 2 haddock with chips 26.00. We recently drop the chips from our order cost 22.58. Tonight for some reason the price jumped to 29.98. The gentleman kept pointing at the price board saying always been that price. Watch out for unexplained price changes. Fish still good.

We ordered 2 Greek chicken dinners you would think with Greek owners it be a little authentic no it came with carrots in the greek salad that was a first scraps of lettuce French fries not roasted potatoes like every other greek restaurant dry fatty chicken and to top it off was ice cold….

not a good place to to eat ,we had 1 shrimp combo with 1 extra piece of fish 49.45 if you want to get ripped of this is your place,will never go back and i will tell everyone about it,this is what they get for ripping people off. jim from toronto

I’m not sure who works at the Trenton location but she kept rushing me off the phone before I was even finished my order and was insanely rude! Hope they hire someone who actually likes there job!!

Great Fish And Chip location in Trenton, the calamari was very crispy and the halibut was great, highly recommended if your in the area and want some good fish and chips!??

I ordered 2 pieces of halibut and 1 order of fries with a bottle of water for takeout. $35I swear it was not Halibut.

Had a great impromptu dinner. Great food...good portions. Service was very accommodating...stayed open for us.
