The outdoor setup at this restaurant is very relaxed and spacious. The canopies provide additional shade during the hot summer months, and there is a pontoon boat converted into a music stage for bands to perform outside, right next to the water at the entrance of the Birdland Marina. The indoor bar is small, but with ample space outside, it doesn't really matter. They offer a full bar with a good selection of domestic beers and regional microbrews. I will definitely return for other bands or events, as it is a unique and cool place to hang out, especially with its waterfront location. Great friendly atmosphere. Clean indoor and outdoor seating for both large and small groups.There's a great patio deck area with a view of the river where you can watch boats pass by or listen to calm of the water.They cater and invite cyclists to stop by for a moment to enjoy a beverage and the sights. There is ample room to park your bike and some tools available for quick repairs.They are right along the trail and a great place to meet your group and start your ride with plenty of parking for cars.
The bar was fantastic but quite small! We attended an event and it was very crowded with a long line for drinks. The food took 45 minutes to arrive but it was worth the wait. The chicken nachos were the best I have ever had. The event was enjoyable, but it would have been better with more servers to reduce the wait time for food and drinks. The location was lovely, sitting on the dock and looking out at the water was amazing!
Food was good except wanted fried pickles and they were out. Had to clean our table off tho. Loud inside and then there was a screeching cat that began to play music and made it even worse. Ugh. They owe me a set of ear drums. Save the music for outside-too small of an area inside. Not impressed. May try again but may not. Réservez une table maintenant
The restaurant is on the pricier side, but the food is worth it. I had the patty melt with steak fries, while my wife had the grilled cheese. We also tried the loaded tots and they were all delicious! They have a full bar with friendly bartenders serving adult beverages.
