Cara Mia's in Dunmore has been our beloved lunch spot for over 20 years, and we never tire of it! This gem offers a fantastic variety of soups, salads, sandwiches, and pizza that keeps us coming back week after week. Each dish is prepared with care, delivering consistent quality and flavor. The soups are always flavorful and comforting, perfect for any time of the year. The salads sandwiches are made with fresh ingredients and offer a delightful combination of tastes and textures. I want to start by saying that I've always had great experiences at this restaurant until today. I ordered a turkey and cheese sandwich, but I received a chicken and cheese sandwich instead. When I tried to reorder, the staff insisted that was what I had ordered. It would have been acceptable if the chicken hadn’t been cold. My mom ordered a sandwich without hot peppers, but they added them anyway, and they completely messed up my sister's order as well, giving her something different from what she requested. The staff was quite rude, and I honestly don’t think I would want to go back.

Sandwiches so good we went two days in a row! The clerks at the counter were very helpful in making suggestions for us on our first visit. My daughter and I followed the recommendation and shared the steak cheese hoagie and were not disappointed! My son-in-law had a tasty chicken parmesan hoagie. Went back the next day to try the sausage peppers and roast beef hoagies, while my son-in-law did a repeat of the chicken parm. All were excellent and were a great value! Will have to be a go-to spot when I’m in town!

I ordered the Mile High Pastrami and the Chicken Caesar Wrap. Unfortunately, there was nothing "mile high" about this disappointing sandwich, which was served on dried-out, somewhat stale bread. The Caesar wrap was filled with wilted, brown lettuce, bland chicken, and watery Caesar dressing. This was my worst experience here so far. Réservez une table maintenant

Family owned and local! I love this place. Always fresh, you can buy sauces by the quart which are homemade. Best and only white pasta fagioli I have ever had… I’m obsessed!!!!!!!

The prices were reasonable, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it came with chips and pickles, which weren't mentioned. The sandwich itself was quite good.

I ordered the Strawberry Chicken salad that was on special. It was so filling, I didn't need to eat for the rest of the day. Perfect summer lunch.
