"The receptionists were very nice but the hotel itself disappointed me. The breakfast was good, but there were flies and mosquitoes... The room is cleaned every two days unless you pay extra.... Old and dirty hotel, very defective heating...I won't return."

Since the hotel advertises itself with really nice pictures and describes itself as a 4* hotel, I would like to show the side that presented itself to me and my girlfriend during our overnight stay. The staff was very friendly. The hotel really offers the charm of an old castle and is beautifully built and really interesting, the castle garden must be beautiful in summer. The wellness area with pool and 3 saunas is well equipped but probably far too small when the hotel is already at 50% capacity. In our opinion, the room was a mess like we've never had before (4* hotel) Don't get me wrong, I think old things can also be beautiful if they get a little love and care, but that's a far cry from...
Despite the many negative reviews, my stay at the hotel was very pleasant. Very friendly welcome with all the necessary information (including restaurant tips , room (new building no. 3404 was clean, cleaning as stated after two nights, rich breakfast, good coffee. The breakfast staff does their work unemotionally but carefully. Overall, the hotel doesn't have the standard of a 4* hotel, but you don't pay as much as in other 4* hotels. Price/performance ratio fits. What could be improved: either fill the minibar or set up a drinks machine in the hotel, as the restaurant or bar is closed on Sundays and Mondays and you can't buy anything in the surrounding area. Check in was problem free and our suitcases were brought to our room. The bathroom is getting old and needs to be remodeled. The breakfast was a disaster, hard rolls probably not just from the day before, but even older. The service staff was asked about it, but it didn't happen because the lady apparently didn't understand us a Hungarian woman and several guests also complained about the rolls. Thank God we only stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. Where the 4 stars come from is a mystery to me. Rooms: 1 Service: 2
We had 3 very nice days here. The room was wonderful with a beautiful view and the breakfast was very tasty. The reception, the cleaning staff and the service were all very nice and everything was perfect. The pool was also very pleasant and nice and quiet. We would be happy to come back .LG Natasha
