Cardens Seafood & Steak House

I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I brought my partner here for a special occasion and had been raving about it since my last visit a long time ago. The service was good since it wasn't busy, but the presentation of the food was lacking. The steak was delicious, but the chips and salad were not up to par for the price. I think a steak served with mashed potatoes and a jus sauce would have been more appealing. The garlic sauce seemed like an unnecessary addition, and the vegetable side was unappetizing. Overall, I feel like this fancy restaurant has gone downhill. In comparison, even a dog's breath would get a higher rating than Cardens.

Atmosphere was fun & friendly & as always food & service was impeccable. Staff are very friendly & for those with children, it's a child friendly restaurant!!! Price wise as for seafood it's reasonable, if some of you don't eat fish there is meat & they will also cater if you are vegetarian!!!

The food was delightful and portions are just right. Its balances in all aspects. There is quite a variety too. Not that it matters a whole lot but the interior can do with some updates to help up the atmosphere for the compete experience. Kids friendly staff.

Been live at dandenong for almost 2 years and we went for anniversarry dinner, it was so amazing. The seafood we ordered is realy fresh, and the taste is . The staffs are so friendly, the ambience is so good too. We will be back for sure! Thanks

You want fancy, lobster and other exotic lunch or dinner, Cardens is the place to go. Book in advance so you won't be disappointed. Try their exciting crocodile meat menu if that is your fancy and you will be amazed on the delightful taste.
