Cardinale Ristorante

I know a little in Kaiserslautern. But there are always new tips. And old tips. I remembered Saarschmecker's contribution to the Cardinale of 2015. “Food” has me when reading this review that I never noticed this Ristorante before. After all, I almost went to the hated-poor vocational school (as many) years ago. Central yet hidden near the Palatinate Theatre. Our car was free from 19.00 a.m., so we tried our luck in the “Cardinale” without reservation. Unfortunately we couldn't sit in the green courtyard anymore, the summer is over. First time in Germany visiting our son and this was our second restaurant this week. Great spot off the beaten path, and WOW was the food great here. Started with some tomato soup and bruschetta, and they were fantastic. If this is how we started we couldn't wait for the main meal. We ordered rump roast steak, spinach ravioli, and a few pizzas. Everything was great, hot, fresh and oh so good. Finished up with some tiramisu. If you can only go to one place, this is the place to be. I think I'm going to really enjoy visiting my son and having dinner here

Authentic Italian meal if your in the Ramstein- Kaiseslauten area. The Bruschetta is amazing, Always enjoy the Spaghetti with garlic, olive oil and red pepper flakes. Great service from the staff. Amazing outdoor dining area.

The restaurant was beautiful inside, and the food was to die for! The owner was also an absolute legend! Will come back here again and again, wish I had known about this spot sooner.
