Fantastic club! The food was excellent—I had the chicken parmigiana. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Membership is free, and they offer great specials and promotions for members, including a members' night every Tuesday with discounts and complimentary finger food. There's a lovely outdoor beer garden and a large gaming area. The bistro is spacious, and the sports bar is well-equipped with plenty of TVs showing all the games. They have $5 schooners of beer, and when I asked, they even turned up the volume for the cricket. The restaurant is great, but we had one disappointment during our visit. I took my 85-year-old mother for lunch, and when she ordered fish and chips, she received a senior meal with a very small piece of fish. She was really disappointed—not only did she not ask for a senior meal, but there was hardly anything on her plate. Additionally, the menu states that senior meals are not available on weekends, and it was a Sunday. I think it's important for the staff to understand that just because someone is older, it doesn’t mean they want to order a senior meal.
We hadn’t visited in a while, and this time we both ordered the porterhouse steak. Unfortunately, the portions were on the smaller side for the price, and both of our steaks had a bit too much fat for our taste. The chips and onion rings were a tad too crunchy as well. The salads could have benefited from a bit more tomato mixed in. On the positive side, the service was excellent, and the bruschetta was perfect, although we would have appreciated one more slice. The drinks were great, too.
This restaurant is a lovely, clean, and bright place to enjoy a meal, with reasonably good prices. They must have had a busy day before our group arrived, as there were four items on the menu that weren’t available—unfortunately, they were all on my list! Réservez une table maintenant
