My husband and I are frequent customers, however that is no longer the case!! Tonight was the last straw. Their fried chicken dinner from years ago was always fresh and fried to perfection. This time around two pieces were old or either refried and salty. The toast that came with it was stale. Very little amount of fries were included. We have noticed over time, maybe within the last two years, the food has gone down hill, management use to have pride in serving customers, but it's like they could care less now!!! I'm not sure if I will dine there anymore.
We were very happy with the service and the delicious food, all offered at very reasonable prices. Regarding kid-friendliness, the menu featured a variety of excellent options for children, along with smaller portion sizes for certain meals. As for wheelchair accessibility, the restaurant was easily accessible with several handicapped parking spots available.
Ordered the turkey club with no tomatoes and guess what had tomatoes asked for grilled onions and got burnt onions and that's not all got more attitude from the cashier than a little bit she acted like it was my fault news flash ma'am I don't work in yall kitchen such a total waste of my lunch break!!!?
Overall, my experience was just okay, but the food did not meet my expectations. Since the main reason we go to a restaurant is for the food, I have to give it 1 star. I expected better offerings from such an established place, but unfortunately, this was my first and only visit.

Thank you to my sever Billy I can finally enjoy a Carey Hilliard’s where I could be comfortable at and enjoy my food, without sending it back to the kitchen or having a rude server or a dirty atmosphere ?
The service here is consistently excellent and impressive. I really enjoy the barbecue plate; the pulled pork is flavorful and never greasy. I'm also completely in love with the twice-baked potato.
Anytime I feel like some good seafood fast... Hilliard's is my altime favorite. Through the years they have always been consistently delicious...
