Impressed. Thought I'd give this place a try after reading all the positive reviews and I wasn't disappointed. Went with Mu's grilled snapper with chips & salad, and also the chilli squid entree, and both were very good. I had given up hope of finding good fish & chips in the South Perth area so I'm very happy to now know of this randomly located café a couple of blocks back from Albany Highway (where paying for parking is not required). Mu's grilled fish is actually quite decadent with the sauce he puts on it. The chips were cooked to perfection, and I loved the house made chilli sauce that accompanied the squid. I thought it was reasonably priced, and being a small family business...

Got the snapper and chips here; some of the best fish and chips we've had in a very long time! The fish batter was crisp and not greasy nor soggy and the chips were very good too. The service was fast and friendly. The cafe is quirky and has plenty of seating outside and in. Will certainly be back to try other dishes on the menu, and the fish and chips. Good to support little local places like this.
Not sure how this place has survived the last 30 years but that's about the era it hails from. Too be fair I can't comment on the food but given the bleak atmosphere of this place and the awful coffee I endured, I would never revisit to find out. Réservez une table maintenant
