This afternoon a group of us went to the club for a few drinks, an early dinner and to play the machines. On entering the club we were almost knocked over by the room deodoriser they spray through their Air Con. It smelt like that cheap stuff they spray in hire cars. We signed in walked into the club and within 5 mins we were back in the car park and off to Easts Leagues club. We just couldn't breath for the stink of it all. Why oh why are Clubs, Hotels, Restaurants and the like poisoning their patrons with these deodorisers?...What are they trying to hide?... Well Carina leagues you have lost us. Very disappointed with Management. Had lunch with group of 10. Most meals nice....sadly the only non member ordered Szechuan Spiced Calamari. Meal was so disgusting.....guest could not have more than a taste. Friend addressed with Management....Management was surprised & stated it was "one of their favourite dishes" & proceeded to taste. After tasting....response was oh ....could we get you another meal. As my friend had ordered coffee & everyone else had finished mains...this was declined! Very disappointed that a refund or credit was offered! There are 10 of us who won't be eating there again & players @ 3 tennis centres will be hearing of our experience!!!!!!!!!!
I was a bit dubious after reading other reviews that I would not enjoy the lunch today but the roast was fabulous. Great value, roast beef with roasted pumpkin, large potato, corn, carrots and broccoli plus gravy all for $9. Ate the lot and my dad was a butcher. Plenty of roast beef. Drinks were cheap too, one lemonade lime and bitters, one Coke (both quite large sized) plus glass of Merlot for $13. Everything served by pleasant staff. I enjoyed it so much that I am going to join the club. Atmosphere was good, nice and clean. Had to show my driver's licence to get in as not a member but will join now.Did not visit the toilet but enjoyed the club a lot.
This is one of those huge club complexes with coffee shops, crèches, poker machine barns, bars, raffles and a bistro. If you want quiet, if you want healthy, this is not the place for you. Having said that, it's a footy club, so you should know what you're getting: a lot of past and present footballers, a lot of poker machines, a lot of food (and the worst salad I have ever experienced), a lot of beer, a lot of noise. This is what they do, and they do it well.

Food has gone a little downhill here, and for the first time tonight, we experienced poor service. The two women in the cafe were so indifferent to serving me, and when buzzer went off to collect coffees and desserts, they were too busy chatting to tell me if the plates just left on the bench were mine or someone else's.I think the management need to take a fresh look at what's going on. Won't be back
Ordered the Special Curry meal. Waited 20 min. Way too long. Rice was undercooked but curry was ok. Great TAB room. Seems like a good place but dining needs improvement. Will come back again and give them a second chance.
Great place to meet for lunch or dinner with family & friends Food is good. Maybe need to change menu every know & then Staff are OUTSTANDING. Nothing is to much trouble Great atmosphere allround
Choices are fewer than usual it seems. Quality of the meals aren't what they used to be, either. However, the staff can never be faulted, always friendly and efficient.

I go there every Sunday lunch with my parents for the roast meal,the venue is clean,staff are friendly,the roast with 5 vegetables is ok to taste and in size for $9-95
food average not cheap beverage ok service average facilities ok they are trying to look like a big club but it really shows they are lacking in funds and ideas
