Mich führte der Weg nach Lünen in's "Carlos". Ich hatte schon so einiges gehört und war dementsprechend neugierig. Das große Plus des Restaurants ist das alte Schiff im Inneren. Dort kann man, zwar etwas beengt, sitzen und speisen. Die Speisekarte ist vielfältig und eigentlich findet man für jeden Geschmack etwas. Meine Wahl fiel auf Thunfisch vom Grill, sehr lecker, mit Rosmarinkartoffeln und Gemüse der Saison. Auch wird auf besondere Wünsche der Gäste eingegangen. So verträgt mein Bruder beispielsweise keinen Knoblauch. Auf Anfrage wurde ihm bestätigt, daß seine Wahl auch ohne Knoblauch zubereitet werden kann.Dann hatten wir noch Lust auf Nachtisch. Die Wahl fiel auf eine typisch portugiesische Nachspeise: Pastais de Nata. Die Bedienung, sehr freundlich und professionell, riet uns erst einmal nur 1 Portion zu nehmen und zu teilen. Diese Süßspeise sei ziemlich mächtig. Hervorragend beraten und so etwas ist mir noch nie passiert.Das Lokal ist zum Teil rollstuhlgerecht. Im Schiff geht es nicht aber ringsherum können Rollstuhlfahrer schon einen guten Platz finden.WLAN muß ich persönlich nicht im einem Restaurant zur Verfügung haben!Ach ja, auf meine Frage, ob Fotos erlaubt seien bekam ich sofort ein freundliches JA!Das Restaurant hat noch zusätzlich eine große Außengastronomie oberhalb der Lippe.Ein Tisch im Schiff sollte man vorbestellen, da dort nicht so extrem viel Platz ist.Ich war sicherlich nicht zum letzten Mal dort und freue mich jetzt schon auf die nächste Gelegenheit.Vielen Dank für den schnellen, aufmerksamen und kompetenten Service !!!
the carlos has been in there for a long time and now you have been added a new filiale. the environment is truly unique: in the middle of the restaurant is a huge ship built in which some tables are also. most tables are around the ship and are suitable for 4 to 6 people. also the quiet place is suitable here for diema: in the hearts there are cannon bowls and fluctuating lamps, in which ladies vote and music. we were eating with 4 people and had reserved what is urgently needed. on Tuesday, they were all occupied. as drinks we chose white sangria. that was very watery for my taste, so we fish out the ice to keep the water content at least constant. the fruits were also quite economical. I ordered gambas, goat cheese with honey and grilled paprika. the 5 gamben were very small, comparable to my little finger, otherwise delicious. the goat cheese was also very delicious. the paprika was warm, but not really grilled and without special marinade. I was very glad that I was allowed to eat the potatoes (potato chips) from my man, because otherwise I would have starved. for entertainment I found the loudness limit. they had to talk louder and ask more often about it. the cannon courts of wc are also well audible in the dining room. we paid almost 100€ with 4 people, which is the case in the rule. the environment is beautiful and beautiful. Maybe we come back to a drink (no sangria). we will not eat Portuguese anymore.
a few days ago, I was there for the first time with my colleagues. I ordered lamming and inlaid champignons as well as mineral water. the lamb chops five at the number were thin and too long grilled. I missed, dice or smoked mediteran. the imprisoned champignons were a sweat. a little smiling with maybe 7 champignon quarters! that came to all of the dose! a warm marinade of some edgy and plank oil as well as a few red paprika pieces. I tied the operation as if the champignons were. the service had either no warning or no lust appropriate to enter. they are only imprisoned. the quartered dosenchampignons beaten to book at 3,80€. with which right? this is nepp! overall I paid €16.80 for the ordered foods that I would have created better elsewhere. also, four fly constantly flying around our food (we did not sit outside, but in closed local) and never nervt.
Waren am Samstag mit fünf Freunden da. Man kann nicht sagen, dass Personal überfordert war, weil es noch nicht viel los war. Trotzdem wurden die Getränke mehrmals verwechselt. Die Vorspeisenportionen sind winzig. Grüne Paprikas und die Kartoffelschalen-Chips waren triefend fettig. Octopus als Hauptspeise (drei Personen hatten es bestellt) war nicht gut gegrillt. Das Grillgemüse war lieblos. Das Piri Piri Hähnchen war trocken. Und die Lammkoteletts waren ungenießbar. Das einzige Gute ist die Lage am Fluss. Die Kellnerin war sehr nett und freundlich. Das Geschirr ist "portugiesisch" rustikal. Wir haben viel Verständnis für gelegentliche Missgeschicke, aber das Essen war nicht zufriedenstellend. Fazit - schönes Ambiente.
