Carl's Drive-in - Réservation de table

If your looking for a hands down great hidden gem this is it. The burgers are great and everyone has to have a Carl's burger at least once. So good!!! It's a step back in time to the diner style burger days, they get cooked right in front of you. One thing you absolutely have to get is a root beer, it's absolutely the best and pair's perfect with a burger. The staff is great and they are always ready to get you in and out, I stop by any time I'm in the area and am never disappointed.

110% recommend this place! No frills old school burger joint that has about the best griddle-smashed burger you can find and the root beer is outstanding. Onion rings are great as well. My only real complaints is their fries need more salt(and I am not one to normally salt my food). I actually keep packets of seasoning salt from another burger place in my car to re-season their fries!!!

This place in St. Louis is exceptional and one of the top places to get a meal. It may not be a large fancy restaurant, but that is part of its charm. Carl has been running it for over 60 years and if it's not broken, they won't fix it. The burger, fries, and frosty root beer are all must-tries. You won't be disappointed. This was my second visit to Carl's Drive-In. The food was tasty and the root beer from the tap was delicious. However, they only accept cash, so make sure to leave your credit card at home. It can get very crowded during peak hours, so be prepared to wait for a table or order takeout.

popular neighboring service burger joint with nostalgic charm. basicburger, fries, chili and shakes served on old style red vinyl stool. very limited seating, so if they don't want to wait better to get the rest opening.

Absolute vibes of a bygone era. Little tiny restaurant with a counter and a few stools. Only cash. Freshly made root beer. Delicious burgers and pommes. Very recommended if you've never been. This place is a real jewel.

Throwback diner, has only counter seating. Fresh made to order right in front of you on the grill. Root beer literally comes out of a barrel. Does not have public restroom.
