very recently they have CLOSED this location and there is a sign that says that it is being turned in a "Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shakes. "these Carls Jr burgers in Canada dont taste quite like the ones at the Carls Jr 's in the USdiscovered they are using only Canadian beef in the burgershowever its hard to fathom that Canadian beef would taste THAT much inferior or different to American beef being that the cows are essentially raised on the same North American soil -AND upon a recent visit found out they got rid of the signature Hardees mushroom sauce that this location and apparently all Canadian locations used to havenow THAT makes a big difference in the burger taste believe it or not -n...
I love Carl's Jr just about everywhere, and the newer one in Abbotsford is no exception. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the food is always good. The service, on the other hand? I don't actually blame the employees, they've never been trained properly. They don't know what certain things are like a low carb burger and they can never figure out coupons, and once couldn't figure out a gift card. Just train your employees, and you'll have the best fast food place in Abby!
I used to go here often a few years ago but quit as it started being not so good.Went with wife and daughter on Saturday for lunch and it was gross. Burger patties were hot but very greasy and grey. There was NO charbroiling on them and tasted like sweated meat.My kids chicken strips were good but the burgers just sucked and service was really poor. 2 girls working and long wait.Unfortunately i wont be back here. Much better places to grab a quick burger.
I liked eating at Carl’s Jr. in the states. I was looking forward to having it here. But this location missed the mark. Dry fries and a lot of sauce on the burger overwhelmed the overall flavour. They are still not using trays due to COVID. Washrooms are dirty. Saw no napkins in the napkin dispenser at all tables, I’m guessing due to COVID precautions.
We've been about 5 times over the past couple of months. The first two times our burgers were great. The other times including today they put the least possible amount of condiments on the burger with the world's smallest piece of tomato. I wish I took a picture last time, I got the world's thinnest sliced tomato with a little scrap of lettuce.
Not worth it!!!!!Ordered the famous burger with cheese advertised at $3.99 and a side order of poutine (which the gravy was cold) and was charged over $14.00!!!!! A friend ordered a grilled chicken burger and it was dripping with grease and the pineapple on it was rotten will not recommend people to this location
