big fan as in the regular constant food quality, but this weekend it was bad. gloopy tasteless sauce on the chicken salt imbocca. although carluccios not alone in this it is painfully obvious to reduce the portion size while increasing the cost. the inflation pressures are understood, but a double whammy makes a negative food experience.
I eat a lot at carluccios colchester and the menu always the same and sometimes boring, but today I have tried the salat goat cheese and cowardly and its absolutely tasty I was very happy with the services as well (roxana, the new...employee was her friendly, fast and polite. thank you.
the restaurant was quite busy, but very loud. we were a small party of 6 but it was difficult to hear conversations. one of the groups did not get their main course until the rest of us was almost finished. the set menu was worth a good one.
