I can barely find the words to describe it.... I was absolutely astounded by how wonderful my experience at Carmelina was... We phoned half an hour earlier for a reservation but my mom forgot to leave our name. It didn 't matter after all since they had plenty of tables open and our server remembered us from our call. The decor of the restaurant is absolutely breath taking with a Greco-roman influence complete with realistic looking friezes and columns. When we ordered our drinks I asked if they had anything similar to a virgin strawberry daiquiri. Our waitress said they didn 't but that she could make me something else with fruit juices and sprite. I ordered the Risotto Fungi and it was a delightful dish of Arborio rice cooked with a mix of mushrooms, onions, garlic, and porcini broth. It was topped with grana danano Parmigiano and parsley truffle oil. The aroma was enticing and the portion was generous, larger than it appeared in the picture. The mushrooms were soft and juicy, adding a great texture to the dish. The risotto itself was delicious, and the addition of cheese made it even more enjoyable.

Italian Fine Dining. I would recommend Carmelina's as one of the best Italian restaurants in the city. For the past 10 years, I have been amazed by the impeccable quality of their food and uncomparable service. Their range of menu options have catered to my health consious attitude, yet provide great meat options for my partner. Their knowledgable staff have always ensured an unmatched pleasant experience. Great good amazing services in a warm cozy and elaborate ambience. Everything was delicious, from bread (very good olive oil) to grilled mushroom appetizers to the main dishes. The pasta was a bit soft for my liking (you can request for it to be cooked more al dente) but the seafood was fresh and the sauce was amazing. Great tiramisu (could use more liquor and coffee). I have visited this restaurant multiple times and have never been let down. The Chef's platter for appetizers brings back memories of Saturday lunches from my childhood. The rack of lamb is cooked to perfection and the tiramisu made in-house is delicious. This place is perfect for a date night or business meeting. I will definitely be returning soon!

I had a fantastic time dining at Carmelina Restaurant for Father's Day. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food and excellent service. The prices were reasonable for the amazing quality we received. The overall experience was superb.

Amazing Italian food, service and environment. Live music played and personalized. One gentleman even played and sang a classic Chinese song. Our server was kind and fun, played with our child too. Clean beautiful interior design. Definitely a hidden gem in Markham.

Amazing Food and Service. We had a wedding dinner party for 37 guests at Carmelina Restaurant which was an excellent decision! The food was amazing and so was the service. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Wonderful ambience!Talal Réservez une table maintenant

There was live music in the restaurant. The performer played the piano and sang which was really nice. We ordered calamari, bruschetta (comes in big portions and two pastas. All really good. Service was great. Recommend :
