The atmosphere and service were fantastic, actually thats the only reason why I wanted to provide feedback. However, the food was terrible. The tostones were not fully cooked, the chimichurri tasted like nothing, the proteins: fish, churrasco, chicken was dry and again flavorless. The rice and beans, also unfortunately so bland and uninteresting. The best thing were the apetizers. Again the service, was a guy (wish I recalled hos name, he was charismatic, quick on his feet, and overall fabulous) he took lot of pride to ensure we were having a good time, actually he was the highlight of thecrestaurant, he even told us about other events the resturant hosts around the month. Nice restaurant, clean space, bathroom a bit old, staff attentive. Got a cuban sandwich and the churrasco con chimichurri. Meat very well cooked, sandwich bread so crunchy and soft at the same time, perfect amount of sauce, fried yuca excellent, super cooked purple onions. The skinny french fries and vegetable side dishes were good but didn't stand out like the others. The prices are quite high for what we're eating. Popular spot on Friday night, but no lines from 530-830 pm. Plenty of parking.
Came here to honor my Uncle Miguel who loved to eat here. Gathered with family and had a very nice lunch. Everyone was very attentive and helpful. They let my toddler explore a little which I appreciated haha I had the ropa veija and it was delicious with yellow rice and sweet platanos. Thank you for being a place my Uncle loved so much. We will be back and we will think of him each time we come.
The service, the tasty food and the environment is always satisfying! Alfonso and his son Ali have done a remarkable effort over the years, promoting Cuban food, culture and hosting for a number of Latino based activities. They are truly a gem here in the Triangle area!

The service was lacking but the food was super amazing! From the looks of it, it was confusing to know whether it’s a casual or fine dine. No need to dress up; casual wear is acceptable. We definitely recommend to try the food at this place. You won’t be disappointed!
Carmen's Cuban Cafe unfortunately, has taken for granted and lost sight of the unique position it can hold as a premier Latin eatery and dance hall.
A really really nice restaurant and I highly recommend it. Food wasn't expensive and each dish me and my friends ordered tasted amazing! Love it.
