I’ve heard a lot of great things about Carmine's, so I finally decided to give it a try and placed a pick-up order. The man who answered the phone was very nice. However, when I went in to pick up my order, I witnessed what I believe was the owner or manager yelling and cursing at his employees right in front of customers while he was ringing them up. I was taken aback by the scene, and as a result, the tip I had intended to give ended up back in my wallet. Regardless of the quality of the pizza, this is no way to run a business, especially in front of patrons. I’ll definitely think twice before ordering from them again. I feel sorry for the people who work there.
Had a large party catered by Carmine’s. Could not be happier. Delivery was 10 minutes early and piping hot. Chicken Marsala, ziti, strombolis (a must! , meatballs, eggplant rollitini (another must , and chicken fingers for the picky eaters. This was the first time we’ve used carmines but will definitely be using them for future events. Incredibly affordable for the quantity and quality. If you’re searching for catering carmine’s is a home run.
Last night was my 3rd try at Carmines, I have no clue why they do not have 5 stars. The food is AMAZING. Salads are crisp, fresh and delicious. Cannot say enough about the quality of their pizza. Have also tried pasta and meatballs WONDERFUL.
Don't let the looks from the outside scare you away. This was among the best Italian food we ever had. It is BYOB and the service is super friendly. Prices are great. You won’t be disappointed

I ordered a pie, and when I tried it, I found it to be completely undercooked and doughy. There was hardly any sauce, with most of it only on the crust.
Pasta was not overdone and mushy, which is often the case. Vegetables were fresh and well prepared. The rigatoni San Raphael was absolutely delucious.
I find any excuse to leave the keystone state and come back to jersey for my favorite pizza. Usually take a bunch home too. Best of the best.
Life long Netcong girl that moved away 3 years ago but absolutely love their eggplant rollatini and their pizza is beyond amazing!
