food and service were fantastic. Unfortunately, if they have a party of 2, they sit them so close that they have zero private sphere. they sit parties of 2 along the outside of the room, where the tables are no more than 18” apart. every word spoken by the couples on both sides is not to ignore. the facility is like no other restaurant I've ever had. it is literally as if they would force you to sit with strangers and hear every word of their conversations.
My experience at the Denver, Colorado was superb which convinced me to come to the Carmine’s close to home (Rosemont, Il). Compared to the Carmine’s in Denver, this experience with food and service was mediocre. Polenta was cold and beef short rib was good but not quite what I was hoping. I could tell the restaurant was short-staffed. I’m sure customer service would have been better if staffed adequately.
Incredible how absolutely piping hot and delicious the food is consistently served! Additionally the cosmos are much more consistent. Thank you to James and Kevin , Tomaso and Bob for always making us feel welcome. Dante is so wonderfully kind and attentive. Thank you for a lovely dining experience.
Food portions are large, so come hungry or prepare to take home enough for a second meal. This restaurant is pricey, but the food and service make up for it. I gave five stars because the quality of food was superior and so was the service. Fantastic Italian fare. Réservez une table maintenant
the server christian was amazing beyond! his welcoming, fun personality made my man and my culinary experience great! I would highly recommend to go for eating and for christian as their server. next time we go, we'll probably ask for christian!
Carmines instituted a new policy...they will NOT serve butter with their bread basket...only oil and cheese. They also charged $3.50 when we asked for some sauce for our Salmon Piccata since there wasn't enough on the plate.
The service was GREAT! The food was made to order and delicious. We had the burrata appetizer and split spaghetti and meatballs. The quantity is generous and the quality of meat and the eldente pasta superb.
Anniversary dinner, the food was delicious, especially the muscles, they made it a fantastic evening. Cheers! Réservez une table maintenant
